SILVIA PIANTA

Silvia is a Junior Scientist at the RFF-CMCC European Institute on Economics and the Environment. She holds a PhD in Public Policy from Bocconi University and was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute. She was a visiting researcher at Princeton University and at the Hertie School in Berlin. Her research focuses on environmental policy and politics. In her work, she investigates the determinants of environmental attitudes and policy preferences, the impact of environmental change on political behavior, and the political economy of the environment more broadly. She is currently the deputy coordinator of the Horizon Europe Project CAPABLE.
