Description:
The research activity will focus on assessing the economic and social benefits associated with urban-scale sustainable energy systems. The candidate should have the following proven competencies and experiences:
- data analysis and interpretation;
- use of statistical packages (e.g.: Stata, R, Python, etc.);
- evaluation of policies and economic and social impacts/benefits;
- good ability to write scientific reports and papers;
- work and study experience in the research field;
- excellent knowledge of Italian and English (spoken and written);
- availability to travel.
The research activity will focus on the analysis of data and literature to define innovative business models aimed at the implementation and management of energy communities in Europe. The candidate should have the following proven competencies and experiences:
- data analysis and interpretation;
- use of statistical packages (e.g.: Stata, R, Python, etc.); - policy assessment;
- good ability to write scientific reports and papers;
- work and study experience in the research field;
- excellent knowledge of Italian and English (spoken and written);
- availability to travel.
It is also necessary to possess the permits that allow working in Italy for extra-EU candidates by the date of application submission. PhD or equivalent carried out in Italy or abroad is considered a preferential element.
Duration: 12 months

The research activity will focus on the analysis and assessment of meteorological and socioeconomic impacts resulting from climate change at the urban scale, with particular reference to a set of European case studies, within the framework of WP7 "Cost-Benefit and Impact Assessment”.
Required skills:
- Solid experience in data analysis and interpretation; - Proficiency in using statistical software such as Stata, R, Python, etc.;
- Expertise in environmental economic evaluation;
- Ability to draft research reports and scientific papers;
- Previous experience in academic or applied research activities;
- Excellent knowledge of both Italian and English, written and spoken.
2. The research activity will focus on mapping and spatial representation of meteorological and socio-economic impacts resulting from climate change at the territorial level, with a particular focus on a set of European case studies. The activities will include the collection and analysis of meteorological, climatic, socioeconomic, and spatial data using specialized software for spatial analysis, with the results presented through the production of mappings (reference WP7 "Cost-Benefit and Impact Assessment").
Required skills:
- spatial analysis of climate change impacts at the territorial level;
- data gathering, analysis and interpretation;
- use of spatial analysis software (e.g.: ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.);
- ability to prepare research reports and papers;
- work and study experience in the research field;
- knowledge of Italian and English (spoken and written).
Duration: 10 months
Salary: € 1.800 monthly (gross) for position 1 & €1.500 monthly (gross) for position 2
