Job Opportunities at GREEN

GREEN Bocconi University is looking for motivated and qualified talents in Economics or Finance to fill 1 full-time position as junior researcher in the field of sustainable finance for climate-neutral urban regeneration.

Junior researchers will be part of a stimulating and dynamic work environment, with the opportunity to take part in cutting-edge research activities on key sustainability challenges within the EU Horizon Project “CLIMB: CLimate-neutrality through Integrated Molecular model for urBan regeneration with sustainable finance” (Grant Agreement no. SGA-NZC 101121530).

Research aims: identify and analyse innovative financial instruments for climate neutrality at local level; develop a catalogue of financial instruments; support to the co-design of financial instruments and stakeholder engagement; contribute to data collection and analysis.
 

Duration: 15 months (collaboration contract)

GREEN Bocconi University is looking for motivated and qualified talents to fill 1 position to work on the European project ": “DISTENDER - DevelopIng STratEgies by integrating mitigatioN, aDaptation and participation to climate change Risks” (Grant Agreement  n. 101056836)

The research activity will focus on the evaluation and spatial representation of the socioeconomic impacts of climate change, with particular reference to the urban scale. The activities will include the collection and analysis of meteorological, climate, socioeconomic, and spatial data, as well as the interpretation and visualisation of analyses using specific software for statistical and spatial analysis, including the production of maps. Reference WP: WP7 “Cost-benefits evaluation and impacts” and WP11 “Communication, dissemination and exploitation”.

 

The candidate should have the following proven competencies: 

  • Master's degree in economics (applied economics, economic policy) and/or in urban and regional planning and design

  • Excellent knowledge of Italian and English (spoken and written);

  • Availability to travel

  • Data gathering, analysis and interpretation of statistical, climate and spatial data, use of statistical and spatial analysis software (e.g.: Stata, R, Python, ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.)

  • It is also necessary to possess the permits that allow working in Italy for extra-EU candidates. 

 

Duration: 5 months 

Salary: € 9.000 (gross)
