Alberto Dell'Acqua is Associate Professor of Practice of Corporate and Real Estate Finance at SDA Bocconi School of Management where he also serves as Director of the Master in Corporate Finance (editions 16th - 21th). He also teaches "Financial Management and Corporate Banking" at the MSc in Management at Università Bocconi. Previously, he served as the Director of the Executive Master in Corporate Finance and Banking at SDA Bocconi (8th -9th editions). His main areas of research are corporate finance, corporate valuation, entrepreneurial finance, capital markets and corporate governance. He has published various works in these areas, including recent publications in international journals like European Financial Management, International Review of Financial Analysis, Journal of International Financial Management and accounting, Applied Financial Economics, Corporate Governance and the Journal of Management Development. He also hold positions as board member in industrial and service companies with some specific roles as Chairman of the board of companies in the Energy & Utilities industry. He has an extensive experience in advising private companies in international M&A and IPO deals. He also served as advisor and committee member for some government commissions on topics related to Infrastructure and the Financial System. He has been scientific advisor to the Chamber of Commerce of Milan and Expo 2015 on the economic studies for the appraisal of the economic impact of Milano Expo 2015. He is member of the scientific editorial committee for the Annual Report on the foreign trade by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE).
