GIOVANNA PRENNUSHI
Poverty analysis, poverty mitigation strategies, project monitoring and evaluation.
I have been working as a development economist for more than 25 years and have extensive experience in the field, gained from working at the World Bank from 1993 to 2015. I have worked on poverty analysis, poverty reduction strategies, and project monitoring and evaluation, mainly in South Asia (particularly India, where I worked for five years) and sub-Saharan Africa. Since 2015, I have been teaching at various universities as an adjunct professor and doing research and consulting. I hold a BA in Economic and Social Disciplines from Bocconi University and a PhD in Political Economy from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. I am also a Medium Mountain Accompanist of the Collegio Guide Alpine of the Lombardy Region.
