Nicolò Cavalli is Assistant Professor at the Department of Social and Political Sciences of Bocconi University, where he teaches Applications for Management, Computational Social Science and Sociology.  He holds a DPhil in Sociology from Nuffield College, University of Oxford and was a visiting researcher at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University. His research lays at the intersection between structural socio-economic change and people's attitudes. His work was published in Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Population Development and Review among others.  

Cristina Mottironi is a Tenured Lecturer of Tourism Development and Destination Management at Bocconi University and SDA Bocconi. She leads the Tourism Major within the MSc in Economics and Management of Arts, Culture, Media, and Entertainment (ACME) at Bocconi. She has served as a visiting professor at Temple University (USA) and various Italian universities. Her academic focus includes tourism destination development, sustainable tourism, and the visitor economy. A member of IFITT - International Federation for IT and Travel & Tourism, she consults on tourism development projects for public entities and organizations. She was also delegate of the Italian Ministry of the Environment at the Alps Convention and served on the boards of Centro Internazionale di Arte e Cultura Palazzo Te in Mantova and Fabilia Group SpA. She holds a PhD in Tourism Management from the University of Surrey (UK).

Sara Bricchi holds a double degree in the management of cultural industries and creative business processes. Since 2009, she has been working with Bocconi University, where she is an Academic Fellow and teaches within the university's tourism courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She gives speeches and conducts research and consultancy primarily on destination marketing and management, hospitality analytics, trends in travel demand and supply, policy, and digital strategies for the industry. She is a Certified Advanced Hospitality and Tourism Analyst and authorized trainer (CAHTA) for CoStar SHARE Center certifications. She is also the author of publications on luxury tourism and wine and food tourism. For 15 years, she has been the Academic Tutor at the Master in Tourism Economics and Management (MET), where she was responsible for program tutoring and coordination, as well as maintaining relationships with employers.

Myriam Mariani is a Full Professor of Applied Economics at the Department of Management and Technology at Bocconi University. She earned a Ph.D. from Marche Polytechnic University and completed a two-year postdoc Marie Curie fellowship at MERIT (Maastricht Economic Research Institute on Innovation and Technology). Her research explores the micro-foundations of research productivity, with a focus on the mechanisms that drive knowledge spillovers across and within geographical areas.

Alexandros Kentikelenis is associate professor at Bocconi’s Department of Social and Political Sciences. He has written extensively on global financing for the green transition and on how global economic governance institutions can support decarbonisation objectives. 

Mattia Fochesato (Ph.D., Economics) is Assistant Professor of Economic History, Bocconi University. His research focuses on the long run determinants of income and wealth distribution across different world regions. In particular, he is currently working on the impact of climatic and agricultural changes on global wealth inequality in prehistory and the effects of plague epidemics on the late medieval and early modern European labor markets.

I am currently PhD student in regional planning and public policy at Università Iuav di Venezia, and project manager of the European platform “MERITA, Where chamber music, cultural heritage and talent meet”. From 2019 to 2021 I was project coordinator at Le Dimore del Quartetto. I graduated with honour in 2017 at Bocconi University in Economics and Management in Arts, Culture, Media and Entertainment, with a research thesis conducted with ASK Centre, “Measuring cultural sustainability at city level”. I have collaborated with Bocconi University and ASK research centre as teaching assistant and researcher.
