  • Legal Aspects of Public Sector Information (2014)

    LAPSI 2.0 - The European thematic network. The thematic network brings together academic experts on legal issues of PSI (Pubic Sector Information) with stakeholders from the public and private sector in order to identify the legal barriers to the re-use market and the opening up of government data. The network will address these aspects by organising workshops and conferences, by creating position papers that raise awareness and that influence policy and by developing a PSI handbook that can guide users in sharing and using PSI. By taking part to the Lapsi 2.0 network about public sector information Bocconi University will continue to play a crucial role in the creation of new rules presiding over the re-use of Public Sector Information.

 

  • COUNTER - Counterfeiting and piracy research (2008-2010)

    COUNTER is a European research project exploring the consumption of counterfeit and pirated leisure goods.
    Funded by the European Commission's Framework 7 programme, the COUNTER research project is designed to collect data, generate knowledge and disseminate findings on the European landscape for the consumption of counterfeit consumer goods.
    It proposes a research project that explores:

    • Frequency and distribution of counterfeits
    • Consumer attitudes to counterfeit and pirated goods
    • Legal and ethical frameworks for intellectual property
    • Policy options for engaging with the consumers of counterfeits
    • The use of copyrighted goods in the creation of new cultural artefacts
    • Impacts of counterfeiting and control of intellectual property.
