The meeting inaugurates the new two-year period of activity of the Green Economy Observatory and intends to deepen the contribution and role of companies in achieving a carbon neutral world.

Nature-based solutions for more sustainable cities

Nature can help to provide concrete solutions to reduce vulnerability and generate value exploiting the properties of ecosystems and the services they provide. During the workshop, the book "Nature Based Solutions for More Sustainable Cities ”- edited by Edoardo Croci and Benedetta Lucchitta and published by Emerald publisher - will be presented. It highlights the benefits generated by nature-based solutions (NBS) in cities by providing a holistic framework that considers design and planning, socio-economic evaluation and the financial dimension. The authors of the book will take part in the discussion.
